Clearbrook is located in Northwestern Minnesota and is named from a brook running through the town.

The origin of Clearbrook dates back to the early 1900's and evolved from a "Shanty Town" in 1910 after the Soo Line Railroad was built.

In 1907, one of the first buildings, The Creamery, was built based on a cow census of Leon and Wildwood (Gonvick) farmers.

The current population of Clearbrook is approximately 560 people consisting of 275 families.

Clearbrook is surrounded by lakes and forests offering excellent fishing, hunting, and outdoor recreational activites.
