In
1990, the Wes Westrum Baseball Museum was completed in the American Legion
building. The museum is a tribute to Wes' more than 50 years in baseball
as a player, coach, manager and scout, retiring in 1992.
The museum
has over 100 feet of glass display cases of photos, memorabilia, and newspaper
articles that capture those glory days of baseball, including a 10' x
14' wall mural depicting Willie Mays' "Greatest Catch" made
during the 1954 Giant and Cleveland World Series.
The Wes Westrum
Baseball Museum is located on the main street of Clearbrook in the American
Legion Building.
